Babies

My gratitude journey would be incomplete without showing you all the little faces that have entered my heart over the last few weeks…and there are more to come!

First was my friend Stephanie’s little guy who came four weeks early.

Then there was this long awaited girl for my friend Cameron and her husband.

Another little boy debuted just a few days later for my friend Amanda and her husband.

Then an ENTIRE two weeks went by without a baby until my newest neice, Tara, made her appearance on Halloween.

This weekend, my cousin Joe and his wife Gwen welcomed their first son into the world. However, my aunt in the picture below might be more excited than they are…

Anyone else notice the boy-girl-boy-girl pattern here?

Soon my Twitter-friend Anna over at Girl With Blog will be welcoming her baby then another cousin and his wife will be welcoming their first child before the year is over. What an abundance of blessing that surrounds me!

Went to my nephew’s blessing today. He’s about 6 wks old. I was a little surprised he didn’t make me baby hungry. I may really be done. :-) Now I can just enjoy everybody else’s. Looking forward to our mcousin Bryan and Mary’s little one!

I really could do without little ones helping me type. *sigh*

I remember SkipperClan leaving for his year in Korea and thinking, “we’re done!” I had wanted more children for several years at that point then suddenly had peace with having our two. Immediately God put the thought in my heart that there would be MANY more babies for me to love in the years to come. This month we started sponsoring our first child overseas and she was born during the end of the time I still wanted more children. God’s timing is always perfect.
