Update: I will be attending the Bremerton meetup, I hope you’ll join us!

Have finances or childcare ever kept you from attending a conference or retreat?
(in)Courage wants to change that this April. This community of women has come together and created a space on this world-wide-web for you and me. What kind of space? So glad you asked. Why don’t we ask the authors and creators themselves.
“When we asked ourselves what kind of place we were building, we finally came to see it as a bit like a beach house. You can put your sandy, dirty feet on the coffee table, laugh late into the night with friends, and also hear God’s voice clearer than perhaps anywhere else. Life just feels more vibrant and real, as if you’ve stumbled upon a glimpse of heaven and it’s nothing like you ever imagined but everything you’d always hoped.”
Sounds great right? I love the (in)couragement shared here every week, but it’s still not quite the same as actually getting together face to face and praying for each other, getting to know each other. This April, we can change that when we we do a little un-conference together…around the world…in our own towns.
What?
Here’s how it works. We gather in small groups, in our towns and communities, and get to in(Courage) one another. The conference part comes in because we all get to do it at the same time! in(RL) will be hosting the party with a live webcast. The best part is, the party can start right now. Head over to the in (RL) – in real life – event page and register for the event. Then find a local meetup in your area to attend (or host one).
I will be hosting one in Washington, with more details to come.
If you are in the Tacoma/Olympia area, I would love for you to join us! When we have at least three guests registered, we have a chance to have the beautiful serving tray above at our gathering.
What would you like most about meeting with new friends in your community at an event like in(RL)?
