Valentine’s Giveaway: SuperTinTin

Military spouses today have a huge advantage over previous generations because of all the communications tools at our fingertips.

When a military member is separated for deployment or TDY, they often have access to phones, email and even video chat. It was only a generation before us that rarely had options outside of letter-writing. The technology available to us continues to evolve and that is what today’s giveaway is all about.

Seven military families will be awarded SuperTinTin’s program in time for Valentine’s Day!

SuperTinTin is a recording tool for online interviews, conferences, lessons, podcasts or family VoIP calls.

  • Both Audio and Video: Record all audio and video streams including Skype voice mail and screen sharing video.
  • Easiest to Use: Very easy to record and playback.
  • Highest Quality: Supertintin records Skype calls by capturing original media data while making sure there is no data loss. Because it is not a screen-capture recorder, video quality is not affected at all if you open, close, resize messenger windows while recording.
  • Picture-in-Picture: Record video in Picture-in-Picture, Side-by-Side, Remote-Only, or Local-Only mode! And you can also record local and remote video as two separate files.
  • Saving. Supertintin lets you easily save your conversations to your computer’s hard drive or a portable USB drive, allowing you to re-watch your personal and business conversations as easily as watching your favourite DVD.

To enter, you must be a military member or spouse and tell us in the comments below about your favorite way to stay in touch during deployments and separations {required}. Additional entries possible by:

  • Like SkipperClan on Facebook and leave a separate comment saying you did {or do}
  • Share this giveaway on Facebook or Twitter and leave a separate comment for each.

This giveaway is open from now until Sunday, February 12th at 9pm, PST. Winner will be announced Monday on this post. Open to US recipients only. Please read my full disclosure policy and contact me with any questions you might have.

  1. My husband is active duty USAF and is currently deployed. Our favorite way to keep in touch is through Skype. Fortunately he has a stable enough internet connection that we are frequently able to do video chats in addition to the more common voice chats.
