Every word seems inadequate to describe how I feel about winning this scholarship to attend the Allume Social Conference in October.
First, what is Allume Social?
“The Allume Social conference exists to offer a gathering place for kindred spirits to connect, learn, grow, and be refreshed so they can persevere in being a people who bring hope to the world through the social media medium. Our goal is to go beyond the surface into intentional blogging and real life living, all to the glory of God. Allume Social is a one-of-a-kind conference that seeks to engage women by teaching blogging techniques and social media skill while also urging and encouraging women to live fully integrated lives with their faith and family.”
Second, when and where is this happening?
Allume Social is being held October 25th-27th in Harrisburg, PA.
Third, who will be there?
In addition to about 300 women who blog and want to honor God? A great lineup of speakers like Ann Voskamp, Kat from Inspired to Action, Darren Rowse from ProBlogger, Mary DeMuth, Tsh Oxenreider, and Crystal from MoneySavingMom…just to name a few!

How cool! I’ve been hearing really great things about Allume–so much so that I decided to step out this year and ask God to open the doors for me to attend. I’m loving the idea of being around hundreds of Christian bloggers. I can only imagine the depth of ideas and energy flowing. I’ll have to look you when I’m there.
