3 in 30 Week 32 Update {aka What I Did This Summer}

Notice the sound of crickets on the blog this summer? Here’s a few reasons why…

Camping…

Best friends visiting for the summer (and hosting the neighborhood a few times – love for this mama’s heart)…

A weekend of training with my Bible Study girlfriends…

A trip across the western United States with my dad…

Who visited with us in the Seattle area for two days…

Before my in-laws arrived for a week to spoil us rotten…

Including a “Whale and Sea Life Search” Tour aka Whale Watching…

And they just flew out this morning. Whew! Since the day the kids got out of school in June, today was the very first day that I was in town and we did not have guests sleeping somewhere in the house. And I wouldn’t change a thing!

I hope you understand why I have not made any progress on August goals. In fact, it is August 12th and I am really just setting my goals for the month. Better late than never? In fact, just to feel good about crossing it off the list, I’m pretty sure my first goal is…

Maximize our Travel and Family Time

Mission accomplished! Well, we do have some birthdays coming up and may even sneak in a last overnight camping trip, so there may be more updates on this one.

Adjust Back to Our Normal Schedules

Late sunsets and early sunrise mean we rarely sleep very late in the summer, but I’d like to make the change back to the school year schedule happen gradually over the next few weeks. My cleaning routine has also been much more hit or miss and I would love to tackle our normal weekly routine as early as this coming week.

Meet With 50 Customers

This may sound like a huge goal, and considering I only have two and half weeks left to complete it, I guess it is! However, for the company’s 50th anniversary, I think it will be worth the work. I’m giving extra incentives to hostesses so that I can hold these appointments with groups of 5-6 women at a time.

Well, that’s the plan! We still have Boy Scout activities, the finale of our Balcony Girls group, tumbling and the other normal weekly activities to incorporate into the schedule. I believe we are blessed to have the opportunities we have had to travel and host others in our home.

Has your summer fun kept you from blogging? Are you back to school already?
