I have very little to say for myself this week…I had a lot of other things going on so my progress was pitiful. I’m hoping to have a much more productive week as we wrap up September. {Am I the only one who feels like it was just July 4th?!}
SkipperClan had a day off unexpectedly and the weather was great, so we went for a motorcycle ride. Kit Kat celebrated her birthday with friends. It was just a lot of great things that did not happen to be on the 3 in 30 list.
Fill the Freezer I made a few pounds of taco meat for the freezer and used a few things up from the freezer for other meals. I did spend a lot of time working on the cake for KitKat’s birthday party which turned out delicious. I might use that recipe to create the dry mix for future cakes and freeze them. Looking at our schedule and the freezer contents, we’ll probably be eating from what we already have this week. However, I plan to create a specific bulk cooking menu this week and set aside time Friday afternooon for a big cooking session.
Purge and Organize the Staircase Closet I finished purging the closet and even started a draft of my process to share. I did not finish going through the office supplies.
“Fall” Cleaning Once again, this goal seems to be slipping from one week’s to-do list to the other. I found a list of 23 specific seasonal cleaning tasks that I am determined to complete this week.
What do you do when tasks are on your to do list but just don’t seem to make it on your daily priority list?
