3 in 30 Week 40 Update

All I can think of when I realize we are 40 weeks into 2012 is…I could’ve had a baby by now!

I’m not planning on anymore babies at this point, but it did make me evaluate where I am with my Finish Year goals. I am definitely considering what goals I want to focus on for the next 12 weeks.

My Babies {They Aren’t Babies Anymore}

That is what I was thinking about when I received the news about my stepdad.

Write Weekly About Allume

I am blessed to be attending Allume courtesy of a scholarship from the fabulous ladies at Write It, Girl this year. It is my intention to help women, especially those attending the first time, feel prepared and encouraged before they depart for the conference this year. This week I wrote about packing for a conference like this, and I had to take my own advice for my trip home this weekend.

Purge 15 Minutes Per Day

I did this the first couple of days, but now that I’ll be traveling to see family, I’m crossing this off the list for October.

Start Each Day with Quiet Time

Most mornings I began my day with this but a few times I did not set the time aside until later in the evening. God knew that I needed to focus on Him again and I’m so glad I had already refocused on this goal at the beginning of the week.

3in30 Challenge

This week I challenge you to call someone you’ve been meaning to call, write a note of encouragement, or give someone you love a real, long, hug.

    Challenge accepted. I quit reading and wrote a postcard to go in the mail tomorrow.
    I really feel the difference between morning quiet time and evening quiet time too. Are you usually a morning person?

      Love that you acted right then! I am more of a morning person now after two rounds of Hello Mornings and prayer for God to increase my self-discipline. Naturally I am more of a night person. However, a friend recently joked that she doesn’t really like staying up late or getting up early…so we agreed she is just a “sleep person!” That’s probably the best description of me too.

    I’m so excited to meet you in just a few weeks :) These are great goals – I’ll be cheering you on!!
