Race

Insomnia creeps in and leaves me tip-toeing through His Word in darkest hours. Trying not to wake the household, I read from the portable screen.

2 Timothy 4:7-I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

I want it to be true of me.

…that I moved forward with intention
…that He used me to help others do the same
…that I showed up for training
…that I depended on His strength
…that my faith was at least the size of a mustard seed

I win the race when others see Him at the finish line.

This right here, it’s worship. Your heart cry, it’s Him.

    Amen, so very true.

Beautifully spoken. And a reminder that God speaks to us and works through us in the most uncomfortable times in our life.

Amen. (deep from my belly, amen.)
