Stay
This military life has us going again. Going from coast to coast. Going to see our friends along the way. Going to new a new base and new school. Going to make new friends and find a new church. Going to live closer to our family.
But God says He will stay.
He will stay with me when I am overwhelmed with moving tasks. He will stay with my kids as they walk into new hallways and meet new teachers. He will stay the same yesterday, today and forever.
Part of me wants to stay the same. Stay in this lovely home, surrounded by my caring friends, and live in this beautiful community. But I need to be molded further, to His likeness and to the character of Jesus.
So I embrace the going…while leaning on the One who stays.
Hopping over from 5 Minute Friday. You are not doing an easy thing…but you are so right. God is with you and He will never leave you. Praying you will feel His presence in this transition more than ever. Bless you!
So true and such a good perspective to have as you start this next phase. So glad you are getting to be near family.
So thankful for the One who stays! Saying a prayer for your next adventure.
And thank you and your family for your service and sacrifice!
