Christmas Cards {A Minted.com Review}

Several years ago I began sending out our Christmas Cards on Thanksgiving weekend. This year, with it falling at the very end of the month, the Christmas season seems even shorter. I worked hard to plan ahead and accomplish a few tasks earlier than normal…I actually ordered my cards from another site on Halloween. Unfortunately, they still had not arrived by Wednesday.

This is not the end of the world, of course, but I love. love. love. checking things off my list and this little hiccup sent me looking for alternatives for next year.

And what to my wondering eyes should appear…but an email from Minted with questions for my ears.

Okay, I’ll skip the poetry attempts from here on out. (But don’t miss how you can get $25 off your order at the end!) I first learned of Minted through an article in Real Simple magazine. I requested one of their free sample cards available to readers and was impressed.

The card quality is great. The designs are clean and simple. The personalization options are almost unlimited. All those things are great, but it’s the website that really makes it easy to create your cards with Minted.

When I went to their site, I had a photo designed in less than one minute.

One minute is about how long some of us have to devote to creating a Christmas card.

You can choose from the following options at the top of the page to narrow down your search quickly:

  • How many photos you’d like on your card
  • Whether your card is flat or folded
  • Postcard or petite card
  • Foil-pressed or ornament style
  • Express processing
  • New designs, price low-to-high
